AAU in Cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation, the “DHAAD Initiative”, Concludes the Activities of the Third Season of the Arabic Language Contest “Al-Ola”

Under the patronage of the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the University concluded in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation “Al-Dhaad Initiative” the activities of the Arabic Language Contest “Al-Ola” for the third season. The event, which was held on Thursday 25/6/2020, was attended by the general supervisor of the contesr, Mrs. Enas Al-Hourani, the arranger of the contest, Dr. Amin Iskandarani, and a number of jurors and organizing committees. This contest which is considered the largest in terms of competition in the Arabic language is an innovative and effective manner. This contest which occurred between the teams took place over a period of three days. The competition included the following three main dimensions: my story, the lens of the language for preparing videos and the language mobility which deals with language initiatives. At the distance ceremony held at the Arena Theater, the winners were announced as follows: Mayar International Schools ranked first and won $ 2000, Al-Oruba School and Al-Jamia School ranked second, and they won $ 1000 splitted in half and the third place went to Al-Khaldiah High School, which won $ 500. As for the winners in the sub-dimensions of the contest, they received many consolation prizes. It is worth mentioning that nearly forty schools participated in this competition from all the governorates of the Kingdom.
